THE SECRET GARDEN PLAYSCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN

I was born and grew up in what is now known as Zimbabwe, where I had the most wonderful childhood I could imagine. We adventured and explored outside a great deal of the time, riding bikes, walking, eating mangoes galore, baking fairy cakes, making jam with my toy cooking things, baking real cakes which my kind hearted brother tasted and endured until I baked cakes which were good enough to call “cake”! I hold the pictures of my childhood close to my heart and with the dedicated help of those at The Secret Garden, spend much time creating an environment where children play, explore, stretch and grow in inspiring ways.
Dave, teacher and husband extraordinaire, grew up in Chicago with his bike as his best friend and delight in life and adventure at his core. He meets the children with sparkle and interest; is so able and skilled with his hands as well as filled with natural wisdom.
We are here to gently guide and encourage; observe and be worthy of observing; smile, laugh, sing, show up fully, be honest and true, kind and respectful and delighted in our own lives. We know that what we think matters and that anything is possible and are honored to have this opportunity to be part of your lives.
What a gift it is for us to spend this time with you and your children.
